Excelsior Communities to Re-Imagine Medical Arts Building

Excelsior Communities is pleased to announce the addition of the historic Medical Arts Building on Alexander Street to their portfolio. The building has a long-standing history in Rochester, built in 1929, and is currently a residential, commercial, and retail space.
The Excelsior Communities team plans to transform the Art-Deco architectural structure into the only “Live, Work, Play” property in the Alexander & Park neighborhood. Tenants will be able to conveniently enjoy the best of the city of Rochester, right from their homes. In addition to the residential spaces that will be completely renovated, Excelsior Communities plans to revitalize the current commercial spaces to bring the property up to the company’s standards and will rename the space “The Deco at Medical Arts”.
Ami Notis, Regional Manager at Excelsior Communities says “This is an exciting project for our team. We see real potential in this property and plan to bring something different to the East, Park & Alexander area. We’re looking forward to creating a true LIVE, WORK, PLAY space in this desirable part of downtown Rochester.”
